Marklumo ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit marklumo.com or use our marketing and advertising platform, how we use it, and the choices you have. We process personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Romanian law.

2. Information we collect

• Information you give us: name, work email, company, phone number and any message you send through our contact form or during sign-up.
• Account information: login details, billing contact and team member details when you use the platform.
• Usage information: pages visited, features used, device type, browser, IP address and approximate location, collected through standard server logs and analytics.
• Connected account data: when you connect advertising or analytics accounts, we process campaign data (such as spend, impressions and conversions) only to provide the reporting and optimization features you request.

3. How we use your information

• To respond to enquiries, arrange demos and provide customer support.
• To create and run your account and deliver the platform's features.
• To send service messages, such as security alerts and billing notices.
• To send product updates and marketing emails, only where you have agreed or where the law allows. You can opt out at any time.
• To keep the website and platform secure, prevent fraud and improve performance.

4. Legal basis

Campaign data connected through the platform is deleted when you disconnect the account or close your workspace, subject to legal retention duties.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority, the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP).

9. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls and regular reviews to protect personal data. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to reduce risk and will notify you and the relevant authority of a personal data breach where required by law.

10. Children

Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
